How autism "shaked" my world  Since the autism adventure have started, I have this mystic fealing about being involved in it for resons beyond normal profane existence. Why me ,why my kid where questions I decided from the beginning I will never  ask myself. The scientists were not able to find a common explanation ,so there is no reason to reflect too much on different causals ,because there is nobody to confirm I could be right..         I never trust my logic as i trust my instinct .I look at my child , I look inside myself ,I look around in my autism large earth familly ,than to the neurotipycal people I know and I get this unexplaned feeling that I was chosen for this mission and i am in the select company of other chosen ones. It is a mistery like from a secret  Knights Templer or Masonic Order.. It is not secret because it would have been kept faraway of the common knowledge by the will of a reduce number of initiated poeple .         It is hard tangible because  another dimension and way of perceive life was opened in twlight for us and invited us to meet it just behind an imaginative border line  our minds had drawn it .        The knowledge was given by force in the beginning but with every day that passed we have absorbed the information and became the translator for our children ,their earth guardian angels too, some angels with brown orange wings hampered with the anger-frustration-pride links that  keep us close to the ground.        Life forced us to look deeper inside ourselves and around us with eyes wide opened  .We are more awake we used to be before the diagnosis and from this point we become responsible for what we choose to do with this knowledge.              We are part from a bigger plan whether we choose whether someone else has chosen for us and in this point the sacred meets the profane. Isn’t it life fascinating ?

Questions sent home by my 18 yr. olds private school for his up coming IEP...Questions for all to think about. When they say raising someone with autism will cost 3.5 million I'M not sure it is enough. ANy responce would be welcome. 1. Where will your child go (completive or supported employment, volunteer work)? 2. Will he need post secondary education or training? 3. Where will he live and what supports will be needed? 4. What will his transportation needs be.? 5.How will he maintain his or her social life? 6.What types of leisure activities will he participate in? 7. How will he meet his needs for medical care including health insurance? 8.WHat community agencies can help and how will they be accessed?
