Equine-assisted Therapy
Description
There are many different kinds of equine-assisted therapy from Therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, equine-assisted psychotherpy...and more! Horses have a magical quality and research studies have shown great success with kids with Autism as well as many other things. Please share any facility, therapy type, personal stories, etc. I volunteer at a therapeutic riding facility where many kids with Autism ride - all levels - different places on the spectrum. I love being there, as do the kids. Thanks for sharing!
