jackiecullen wrote 428 Days Ago (neutral) 0As you guys know, I'm having MAJOR issues communicating with Jadyne without an AAC device at home. Zac Browser is great, in fact, the only thing she'll engage with at home. I'm copying/pasting the conversation I had with my long time friend a PhD Doctorate at Lincoln Nebraska for SLP. If this software doesn't exist for the PC, please consider developing it! =)

Just had an idea. Until I can get a tablet or AAC through the ATLL or her insurance, do you know of any pc software that's like the concrete program on the M3? Jadyne did FANTASTIC with that, and she's awesome with the computer/mouse, etc. Is there a PC software that would show her a room, let her click what she wants, then move through like that? Sorry I don't know the name of that software on the M3, but that's where she thrived, and I am HOPING you'd know of a PC software I could install on her computer in the meantime.

Jackie Cullen ty. Like I said, I filled out the PA ATLL loan application, but you know as well as I do that could take some time. I did like her OT said yesterday and just logged bogus hours to avoid truancy, but I can't truly get this kid back in school til I have SOME way of helping her communicate, even if it's PC software til we get a loaner device.

Jackie Cullen Another thought I just had, I know the guy that made ZAC Browser. I'm gonna forward this info to him. It would take him time to develop the software, and wouldn't help Jadyne now if it doesn't exist, but may help other kids in the future.

"We are fam-il-y...!" He likes "hide with paws" a lot and will look like he's hiding from him and peeking in the computer screen...soooo cute! :)1 point
