Nilla's primary focus is her adult son, Daniel, who was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome at age 23. Puzzled also shares intimate, difficult as well as hilarious, stories of her artist/ filmmaker husband Steve, their "neuro-typical" son David, and Nilla's own journey, as she struggles with the fuzzy boundary lines inherent in parenting any adult child.
